The purpose of this role:

As a Lead Business Analyst - Pay Systems & Compliance, you'll lead business analysis activities across complex payroll, compliance and systems initiatives. Partnering with stakeholders across the business, you'll be responsible for understanding end-to-end processes, facilitating workshops, capturing requirements, and producing high-quality documentation that supports the successful delivery of key initiatives.

This role is ideal for an experienced Lead Business Analyst who thrives in complex environments. You'll bring exceptional requirements and process documentation skills, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and the confidence to independently drive analysis activities from discovery through to delivery. Pay Systems and Compliance knowledge is advantageous, but we're ultimately looking for a standout Lead Business Analyst who can quickly understand the business, ask the right questions, and deliver quality outcomes.

What you’ll need to make it possible

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including substantial experience operating at a senior Business Analyst level within complex, highly regulated environments. 
• Proven experience leading business analysis across large-scale system and compliance programs
• Deep expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process improvement across People, Process, Technology, and Governance domains. 
• Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and discovery sessions with senior business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams 
• Extensive experience in documenting current and future state processes using process mapping tools such as MS Visio. 
• Skilled in defining clear and testable acceptance criteria, with end-to-end traceability from requirements through to deployment and post-implementation validation. 
• Demonstrated ability to support test strategy and planning, review test cases and outcomes, and coordinate resolution of defects in collaboration with delivery teams. 
• Strong influencing, facilitation, and stakeholder alignment skills, particularly when engaging across diverse groups and senior leaders.
