Mental Health Careers
A welcoming place for every mind
At Bupa, we believe in a world where caring for your mental health carries no stigma. Where talking to a therapist is as accepted as going to the gym or visiting the doctor. That's why we introduced Mindplace, by Bupa — our global network of wellbeing centres.
We’re building more than clinics — we’re building a new kind of mental healthcare experience. One that’s accessible, human, and designed around the needs of both patients and practitioners. These are the places to build and maintain a healthy state of mind with caring, professional experts.
Our first clinic opened in May 2025 in the heart of Sydney, with many more to follow. As our network grows, so does our team of passionate, purpose-driven professionals.

What can you do at Mindplace?
Mindplace is evolving the way mental health care is delivered in Australia.
We believe people are more than a diagnosis - and clinicians are more than a single discipline.
Our multidisciplinary approach reflects how people actually live, heal and grow.
We are here to deliver the "whole-of-person" model of care to provide better outcomes for our clients, and to give our clinicians a more connected, sustainable way to practise.
Working at Mindplace means being part of a model that is intentionally designed to support good care and good work.
We designed a multidisciplinary framework to allow our clinicians to do what they do best, while being supported by structure, collaboration and purpose.
In practice, this means:
- Ability to support clients with complex or overlapping needs, addressing both mental and physical contributors to wellbeing
- Create coordinated care plans, rather than disconnected interventions, placing the person at the centre
- Deliver outcomes-focussed programs that evolve with changing needs
- Share knowledge and expertise across disciplines
Here, you aren’t expected to carry complex cases alone. Instead, you’ll be supported by a broader clinical ecosystem where shared decision‑making and integrated care are the norm.
Our multidisciplinary teams include:
Psychologists
Deliver evidence‑based therapy within a collaborative, multidisciplinary model focused on meaningful client outcomes.
Psychiatrists
Provide medical assessment and treatment, integrating medication with psychologically informed, team‑based care.
Counsellors
Provide compassionate, goal‑focused therapy supporting emotional insight, coping skills, and resilience.
Paediatricians
Support children’s developmental and emotional wellbeing through early intervention and collaborative care planning.
Behaviour Support Practitioners
Design positive behaviour support systems that reduce distress and improve daily participation and quality of life.
Speech Pathologists
Strengthen communication and social connection to support confidence, emotional expression, and engagement.
Occupational Therapists
Enable independence and wellbeing by building functional skills, routines, and participation in everyday life.
Exercise Physiologists
Use movement to enhance mental wellbeing, resilience, and recovery as part of integrated care.
Physiotherapists
Improve physical function and pain management to support holistic recovery and mental wellbeing.
Dietitians / Nutritionists
Support mental health outcomes through nutrition strategies that promote brain health and energy.
