WomenCAN
Ensuring that the healthcare industry is open to everyone is crucial for Bupa. That’s why we partner with WomenCAN Australia, a charity that offers training, support and employment opportunities to vulnerable women interested in a career in aged care.
WomenCAN provides paid traineeships in a range of roles across Bupa’s regional-Victoria aged care homes. On-the-job and externally accredited training are provided to women from a variety of vulnerable backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, the elderly and those at risk of financial insecurity. The program aims to place women in permanent roles at Bupa upon successful completion, helping them build skills and confidence as they embark on a rewarding new career.
