Carer Traineeship Program
Be at the 💙 of growing your career
In our care homes, it’s our commitment to putting our residents first that makes it easier to create real relationships and provide our residents with better care. Through this program, you will be guided in the Bupa Way where you will put the needs and preferences of our valued residents at the very heart of how you deliver care.
If you are interested in starting a career in aged care, the Bupa Carer Trainee Program is a fantastic way to earn while you learn. This exciting 12-month program includes undertaking a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) while gaining on-the-job experience and employment in a rapidly growing industry.
Do you want to enrich the lives of residents and build a meaningful career?
The Carer Traineeship Program provides an ideal supportive environment where you will have access to experienced mentors who will guide you to develop practical skills and knowledge throughout your Traineeship Journey. Our Carer Traineeship Program is a 12-month commitment where you will combine on the job learning in one of our care homes, alongside theory-based learning which is completed online. As you progress through your learning and gain confidence in your skills, you will see a gradual increase in responsibility and become more ‘hands on’ in your provision of care to our residents.
When you complete your 12-month Traineeship you will be awarded your CHC33021 Certificate in Individual Support (Ageing) qualification and are eligible for work as a qualified Carer at Bupa complete with a pay rise!
