Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Need some clarification? Here are some of the most common questions we hear about our processes.

Applying for jobs

Q: How do I apply for a job at Bupa?

A: All applications are submitted through our online careers site. Browse current job listings, filter by location or role type, and submit your application directly.

Our recruitment process varies depending on which type of role you’re applying for, but it’s always our goal to learn as much about you as possible, and to help you decide if Bupa is right for you and your career goals.

Q: Can I apply for more than one role at a time?

A: Yes! In fact, it’s best that you apply for all roles you’re interested in. However, once you have applied for a role with us, your profile will be stored in our application system talent pool, and we may contact you if there is another role that looks like it might suit you.

Q: I don’t see any open roles right now — can I still submit my CV?

A: Yes. You can join our talent community at any time. Make sure you add as much detail to your profile as possible, as our recruiters will keep it on file and reach out if a suitable role becomes available.

Q: How do I find job opportunities in a specific city or region?

A: Use the “Location” filter on our careers site to search jobs by city, state or region. This helps you find roles in the area you want to work. We have Bupa locations all over Australia, so chances are, there’s a Bupa near you.

Q: I’m interested in working outside Australia — does Bupa have global openings?

A: Yes. If you’re interested in international opportunities, visit our global careers site to explore roles available in other countries.

Q: What documents do I need to submit with my application?

A: When applying for a role at Bupa, candidates are generally required to submit a current resume outlining their work history and relevant experience. Depending on the specific position, you may also be asked to provide a cover letter, proof of qualifications or certifications, and any other documents specified in the job advertisement.

It's important to carefully review the role requirements to ensure all necessary documents are included with your application.

Q: Do you offer graduate or internship programs?

A: Yes, we do. We offer graduate, internship and entry-level pathways in nursing, caring and dental spaces. We also offer Career Trackers internships for First Nations university students.

You can find more details on these programs on our Emerging Careers page.

Q: Does Bupa offer visa sponsorship or relocation support?

A: We are regularly recruiting for a range of jobs, some of which offer sponsorship opportunities. All of our jobs are advertised on our regularly updated Bupa careers website.

We have new roles advertised almost every day and applying directly to a role is the best way to ensure our recruitment team sees your application.

If you’ve visited our careers site and there are no roles that look right for you right now, we encourage you to check our career page regularly, or join our talent community and let the team know that you’re looking to make the move to Australia.
